Hi,
I'm an Irish/UK citizen living and working in Belfast with an Australian/New Zealand wife residing in Australia but arriving in Dublin on 22nd December on a tourist visa (does it matter if the tourist visa is for UK or Ireland).
I sent my renounciation form into UK Immi on 22/09/14 and my question is:
What visa do we apply for once the renounciation is accepted and can we apply for this with my wife in the UK on a tourist visa?
Thank you for any advice,it's so appreciated!! :D

Thanks Vinny,
Anyone have an idea how long renounciation takes on average?

That's right. It's around 2-3 months.

For other people applying to renounce in the future: I'd recommend that you get a doctor to sign your renunciation form, that way the Home Office can't really reject your renunciation by saying that you are not of sound mind.
