EEA4-Do I need to be married for 5 years to apply?

Hi there,

Wonder if anyone can help me on this? My husband and I came to the UK as students in 2009. He is a European and eligible to apply for PR. However, we didn't get married until last year. As for now, can I apply for PR too using the EEA4 form?

Thank you.

Vicky

Thank you Obie, just to check, we have lived together for more than five years as un married partner before, that doesnt count, does it?

It counts if you have applied at the time as unmarried partner of EEA national. If you just have been on visa student, then it doesn't count.
