Permanent/Naturalization- time counting under European Law!

Hello, I've posted here before telling my story, my relationship ended but my ex is willing to help me so we will remain married etc.. I'm thinking tho about what will happen once my residence card expires. After 3 years of marriage I'll be able to apply for italian citizenship(my husband is italian) and I wanna know if I'll be able to apply for permanent or citizenship after those 5 years(3 as a eea2 and 2 as an italian citizen).
