EEA4 application , call for interview at liverpool

hello
my friend applied EEA4 application in nov 14, he had divorced his EU national wife last year may. he has all paperwork like, p60,sa302 (6 years)+ sme wage slips, now he called for an interview at liverpool. if any1 has gone through similar situation. we appreciate if some 1 share his/her experience with us regarding interview.

What exactly is the topic of the interview? Is the ex wife also going for the interview?

Directive/2004/38/EC. just asked for interview . no idea , why they call for it. he is its own.
