Guru's
Couple of years ago my parents manage to get EEA residence card, based on me exercising the treaty right in an EU State.
They have been living with me since as dependent, and dont have any income.

My query was -
Can they apply State pension? Father 66 yrs old.
Can they apply for any other support/benefits on residence card?

Will it anyhow impact on their EE4 application?
Please advise.
regards & thanks in advance.

Which country have they been living.

Did they ever worked in that state?

If not, how can they get pension?

Hi Obie,
thanks for the response. Please see answers to your queries below -

Which country have they been living - India

Did they ever worked in that state? - Yes self employed - but no pension.

If not, how can they get pension? - Good question - i thought State pension was available to all despite previous work history - clearly i got that wrong.

As you can tell i don't know much about UK's benefit system, so question should have been - Is there any other benefit that will apply to them.
