Hello everyone! I am currently doing my Masters in London and am under the tier-4 PBS. My boyfriend is a German national, and he is joining me in the UK very soon. We have been together for more than 4 years, and lived over half together. My question is this; assuming that all documents are in order, is it possible for me to switch from a tier-4 to an EEA visa? is it possible to directly apply from within the UK for a residency card? or do I have to leave the UK and apply from my home country? thank you!

You can apply directly from within the UK . However , Let him get here first . Move in together and apply after a while with documents.

Were you living together with him prior to coming to the UK ?

Hi! thanks for the quick reply! yes we lived together for two years before I came to the UK, so we have proof that we lived together for those two years.

perfect.
I presume your application will be easy. Let him get here and get a job . Then apply .
It will all be fine.
