Hi guys

My wife is about to apply for the EA family permit in Iran and the appointment will be based in turkey.

Does she have to pay for Immigration health surcharge?

She will stay for more then 6 months, we will apply for her residence card after

But I am not sure if we do or do not have to pay for the IHS.

Thank you

Assuming of course that you are an EU national exercising treaty rights in the UK.

https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigrati ... eed-to-pay
When you don’t have to pay or get an IHS reference number

You don’t need to get an IHS reference number or pay the healthcare surcharge if:

you’re a family member of a European national with European Union treaty rights
