Need Some guide please

Hi all, I am married with an EEA National and got my Resident card in March 2013 for 5 Years. Just want to cut the story short.
What if our relationship breaks down but remained married and and at completion of 5 years will I be able to apply for permanent residence? bear in mind that my wife will not help me with any supporting documentation like pay clips,Bank statements which is obvious that after split up. She has been working throughout without a break and me too so we have been excercing treaty rights without a gap.
What is the best way to go about it?
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
