Residence card (EEA National working part-time)

Hi guys,
I am a non-eu citizen on a eea family permit (6 months) as my wife is an eu citizen. I am working full-time and my wife part-time. I just applied for a residence card and I would like to know if it won't be a problem for me to get a residence card as my wife is working only part-time

Part-time is fine. How many hours/week?

Just make sure she has payslips/a contract/a letter from the employer & it will be fine!

As long as the work is a genuine & effective activity then it should be fine. Although there is no guideline that how many hours an EU national worker should work but under UK benefits system for EU national the working hours should be 24 hours per week or £150.

This came across a few times on this forum. Would lesser number of hours be the cause for concerns for an EEA national applying for PR? I give an example: in my case I have been worked full time, have been working part time, have been self-employed with significant earnings (f/t equivalent) and now low and unstable self-employed income. After the new semester starts, I will start teaching again with higher earnings. what is your take on this pls?!
