HELP: Appeal or new application?

Dear all, I need your urgent support and advice:

My application for a EEA family member resident card has just been refused. The reason is that I failed to prove that my husband (an European citizen) is working - which is entirely ridiculous as the main reason was that we didn't provide a business telephone number. More astonishing, the Home Office informed me that I have to make an exit as I "appear not to have right to remain in the UK" whilst I am currently on a work visa and this visa card has been submitted with this application.

Anyhow. In the notice letter, it is said that I have right to appeal, or I can make a further application. Does anyone have similar experience? If so please advise whether I need to appeal or send in a new application?

As I only have 12 days left before filing an appeal, any quick response would be really appreciated. Thank you.

Vicky

I have no real experience to be honest, but did you get your original papers back? You would obviously need them again for a new application. Then the question is, would you get the same CW and would he decline again based on the previous case?

If I were in your position - and like I say - I don't really have the experience - I would probably see if I got time and money to go to a solicitor specialised in cases such as this and get a consultation ...
