Hello all
I'm British citizen my mother is non European national and 72years old widow of British citizen and she got UK state pension enough to support her and physically dependent on me because she live alone in Pakistan
My question is she can join me in Ireland as family member of Eu citizen what is proper way what documents required.
I am studying in Ireland.

When did your father become a British citizen? Was your mother married to him at the time?

While I would not promise anything, there is a slight chance, especially if your father was a British citizen in the 1960s, that your mother may have British citizenship too. In that case, she can travel to Ireland on her own.

And how come she has a UK state pension?

My father get British citizen in 1976 but married in 1961 and on my birth my father was british.
My mother is widow of British citizen so that's the reason she got U.K. state pension

How did your father get CUKC citizenship in 1976? Did he do so by registration or by naturalisation? And was your mother granted citizenship at the time as well?

If she was granted citizenship, or you think she was, you can check with the National Archives to see if they have any records of it.

As your mother lives alone in Pakistan, I presume that she and your father are/were Pakistani citizens. You may want to look at this note on the Pakistan Act 1973, to see if any provisions of it applied to your mother in the past and if she acquired British nationality without knowing it.

I checked and my father got citizenship through registration.
