Hello all

Firstly I'm very grateful for the info I receive here. 2 years ago we were pretty lost (my wife and I) as we'd had failed settlement applications but thanks to the assistance in this site as else where I managed to move to France, find work and get a 2006 regulation residence visa for my wife.

I am now looking for advise on how to proceed.

I'm a uk born citizen and I've been working for a year in France now - my wife received her residence stamp/visa about 3 months ago

She has visited the uk with me also for a month in September and we are now back n France
We had a complicated uk immigration application history which resulted in 2 failed applications for settlement.

We intend to disclose this fully to the ukba when we make this application to return to the uk

The problem is I'm not quite sure now how to proceed.

What am I applying for? Vaf5? Electronic application?

Also all of our supporting document are, obviously, in French so we would like to submit as little as possible to keep translation costs down

Any advice from here on is much appreciated

You can apply EEA2 UK if you have a family permit to go UK.. the residence stamp issued under SS route?

No need to declare previous failed applications as they won't be relevant now you're 'coming in from the cold' under EU rules / Surinder Singh route.

Bon chance!
