Hi

I've been looking at various threads in this forum regarding Surinder Singh route for elderly parents but could not find anyone saying they had any success.

Can anyone share their success story?

As per the gov website they say the parents have to be dependant on British Citizen, what exactly are they looking for to prove they are dependent?

Is it the age / who looks after them now / financial dependence or all of them?

Any reference document / Gov website which can describe a bit more regarding "dependant" section ?

Many thanks

This HO guidance covers family members & definitions of dependency:
