Hi, I am an EEA national who has lived in the UK for more than 10 years and would like to apply for British citizenship. The new application form now requires that I supply a document that shows I have permanent residence (another huge application form). Can anybody tell me roughly how long I will have to wait for the application to be processed as there is no contact phone number or information in the guidance notes / website. Any info would be much appreciated.

It could take 6 months, especially as there is likely to be a big increase in PR applications due to the new BC rules requiring proof of Permanent Residence.
