When did you & wife arrive in UK?
How long have you been married?

How has wife been exercising treaty rights in UK? (working?)
Is wife an A8 national?
- if so was she properly registered on WRS?

If you are still legally married just sit tight for next 3 months.
That is, if you mean you have been in UK for almost 5 years (& married approx 5 years, or more) & wife has also been exercising treaty rights in UK for all that time too.

Then you could apply for confirmation of PR assuming you have all documentary supporting evidence.
- you can start gathering that evidence together now, ready for when you can apply.
