Hi guys,

I will like to know what the experiences of people, if any, that have applied for PR without using the form.
A friend is considering sending a a letter with relevant treaty right evidences.
How is this likely to work in regards to payment for the application, boimetrics etc ?

I await as many opinions and contribution as possible. Thanks all!

Just post the payment and biometrics pages along with the letter and the required evidence of how PR was obtained. FYI; biometrics for PR are only required for non-EEA nationals.

Filling the form is optional, but if they need more evidence or like to speak to you in person they might invite you for clarification. Even if you don't include the biometric page they will send it to you anyway.

However, if you can demonstrate your eligibility with enough document they will issued it.

Good luck.

Thank you Wise,
Does that implies if enough documents is provided there may not be a need for biometrics for non eea?

I think he means they won't ask you for an interview or to submit more information if you provide enough.

Non-EEA must submit biometric information no matter what (unless physically unable).

FYI = for your information
