Hey guys,

My cousin is a British Citizen but has moved to France about a year ago. He is now trying to call his wife over? He is working there and has his own place. When his wife went to submit the application. They did not submit her documents saying they don't accept this marriage certificate although the certificate was in english by nadra. They said she needs to get a letter confirming the marriage from British High Commission. And we know British High Commission does not provide these letter. And he cant get any other prove as the wedding took place in Pakistan and UK does accept pakistani marrige certificate. Do u guys know anything that can be done about it?

Does the marriage certificate has been attested by Foreign affairs ?

Following are the documents I submitted with my application
Nikkah nama Urdu and English (Notarised and attested by Foreign affairs)
Marriage Registration Certificate (attested by Foreign affairs)
Family Registration Certificate (attested by Foreign affairs)

samfam did you apply for a entry clearance in France as well ??
because from what I've understood this person is having problems with French Immigration not the Home Office!

No I did not .. I was referring to the documents from Pakistan ( as they got married in Pakistan) .Any documents regarding education /marriage ,We need to get them attested from foreign affairs( If traveling outside Pakistan)
