Good day,
Should I be calling the HO regarding my application? I wanted to ask whether calling them will be helpful to my wife's application? It's been a month now since we applied and at this point we're expecting a COA with right to work. Any help and tips would be so much help and would help calm the unknown and waiting.
Regards,
D

This is exactly what I would like to find out as well.
I have sent my documents on 19/04/2016, payment was taken few days later and it has been quiet since then.
Does anyone have any experience with calling HO asking for the application status update? Is it worth it?

No point of calling them. They won't give you an update on your application.

If there isn't a phone number, is there an email address? I haven't received a CoA for my Jan 2016 application yet. I'm also looking to confirm they know my correct address, which has changed since the application.

I also applied on 19/4/2016 for EEA2. I did not get biometrics letter yet. It looks like process is getting slower and slower.

App Received: 15th April 2016
Payment Taken: 20th April 2016

I emailed the following the week before last:
BRCDelivery@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
asking whether they were aware of our change of address, and also about our missing CoA, and they were able to confirm the change of address as well as get a CoA sent out, which arrived just over a week after my initial email.
