Hi there. I'm completing my application for the EEA (PR) and I have some doubts.

I've been living in the UK for more than 5 years but I have to write the days in each year when I've been outside the country. What is the day limit for each year, or overall for the 5 years?
What if I don't remember exactly the dates I've been out and came back in the country? In that case can I just write an approximate period?

Is the biometric test necessary?

Biometrics is only for non-EEA persons.

Continuity of residence will normally be broken by an absence of more than 6 months in a 12 months period; (based on the anniversary of your arrival in UK).
A one-off absence for exceptional reasons (eg military service/pregnancy etc) is permitted - for up to 12 months in the 5 years that is required to acquire PR.

Give approximate dates (and optionally explain them in 'additional info' section of form) if you're not sure of some of them.
It's still your responsibility to prove your residency in UK.
