PR - how many documents do people actually submit

Hi all

So we are well into our process of applying for our PR card and spent countless evenings putting documents together and printing statements  . But just been on the phone with hmrc immigration information call center and the lady said two documents per year as residence evidence and end of year self assessment (husband self employed) statement as work evidence. This sounds too good to be true and looking at my ton of paper on the floor makes me wanna scream.

So, should I bury them in all the paper I've got or listen to the nice lady and send just a couple per year? What did you do?

Thanks a lot you wonderful bunch
Dana

I sent one months worth of bank statements (June) for each year, P60 and a random payslip from each year, and a letter from my employer confirming my employment.
