RC application and change of status of qualified person

Hello there please can you help me with this I have applied for a residence card in uk on the 13 April after submitting my application my husband recently found job should I send his work contract to the home office? And one more thing I wanted to know its been over a month I did not get any reply or letter telling me they received my original documents and application I waited too long I am worried because I want to know if they got my application and my originals ?

You should update your husband's status to home office
