Dear Forum members,

Any advice will be appreciated. I submitted my PR application 14 April 2016, payment was taken 21 April 2016, I have not yet received a COA as yet for the biometrics, what is the normal average turn around time?

Can you please advise as to whether it is possible to get your passport back, do they need to hold onto my passport for 6 months, can i not get it back as i still need to travel for work purposes???

Any advice/ comment would be hugely appreciated.

Request your passport back online, they then usually return it to you within 10 working days.
Sometimes, they seem to hold on to non-EEA national passport, not sure why, but hope that won't be the case for you.

I am a non-EEA national, so hoping they may not hold onto it.... :)

I have my own thread ....sorry to barge in

just wanted to say I read your post and was surprised to see after almost 5 weeks that still no COA has been received. Do you get the biometric letter before the COA?
