Translation of documents

Hello,

Do non English documents that are being submitted as part of an EEA Family Permit application need to be translated by a professional translator, or can they be done by ourselves?

Secondly, does the whole document need to be translated? For example, we are planning to show a tenancy agreement translated from Chinese, but it is 10 pages long and only the front page is relevant with dates, names etc, (the rest are all just generic contractual tenancy terms!). Do we need to get all 10 pages translated or just the relevant front page?

Thanks,
Marcus

Don't know about every page but ...
You’ll need to provide a certified translation of any documents that aren’t in English or Welsh.
