Minimum income for EEA worker or self employed

what is a Minimum income for EEA worker or self employed to retain his/her right to reside status.

Its not specified under EU law by the Directive.

The work simply has to be genuine and effective rather than marginal and supplementary.

In UK, HO applies its MET & PET tests/thresholds to EEA migrants.
However it seems somewhat controversial as it is not compatible with EU law.

Thanks but The minimum earnings requirement is relevant to worker status during periods when a person claims Jobseekers Allowance: the main regulations that deal with residence documents have not been changed.

I am confused

Yes it is confusing but that is what HO are doing and the tests they now seem to run.
And none compatible with the cleaner, purer EU law.
