Hi Everyone
Is it possible to apply under Extended family member from T2 as my sister is dependent to EEA national husband. If yes would my time reset for ILR. I am in the UK for 7 years. Any advise would be appreciated.
Cheers

Time spent under UK regs cannot accrue towards acquisition of PR.
Are you dependent on your EEA brother-in-law for your essential daily needs and/or part of his household where he is head of household?
Do you have a job? income? house?
Do you have a family?
Who supports them?

There is no ILR on the EEA route only permanent residence and that requires, as a dependent, 5 years of a sponsor exercising treaty rights so you'd lose the last 7 years and start at 0.
Doesn't seem particularly wise move right now seeing as it's quite likely that there won't be 5 years of EEA permits left to exercise treaty rights in (Brexit triggers Article 50 which gives 2 years of negotiations at least & the Leave campaigners have outlined a 2020 deadline before the immigration route is stopped)
Even without Brexit extended family member rules would change as per agreements from February.
