UKVI contact EEA (EU) PR

Sorry for the renewed plea folks, but has anyone had any luck in contacting the Permanent Migration team or any department that deals with EEA PRs, maybe in the form of an email (as opposed to the dreaded phoneline?)

My original issue of getting a DCPR issued to me with the wrong name persists, and there appears to be no avenue to get this corrected...

Maybe try sending a letter outlining the problem (and referencing the number on your DCPR ) + relevant supporting evidence to the address in Durham where the DCPR application was sent to?! Someone will open the letter and read it and you can then only hope that they'd pass it on to the original caseworker. There is a chance that the letter will just be ignored, but worth a shot as there seems to be no official way to get it corrected...(other than the replace DCPR option on the form which seems to be only for people who have lost their document)

All that assuming that the error with your name was a mere spelling mistake on their part and that it isn't due to a difference in spelling because you had done a deed poll and your country of origin PP was still in the old name...

Any idea what it could be? I just emailed public enquires as well as the further nationality enquiries email as I'm at a loss.

A bit more complicated than that unfortunately. All my paperwork and UK IDs have the correct name on them. My Greek ID card has a transliterated variant. I asked UKVI (big mistake) and they said that I'd be OK to apply and they'd use the name on my UK ID (drivers licence). Well, they didn't. Then they asked me for a deed poll (even though I haven't changed my name). I sent one. That further complicated matters. I've since changed all my ID docs (including ID card and passport) to show the correct name, and trying to get the DCPR amended.

If I knew that all this would have happened, I would have held fire on applying for a DCPR and changed my IDs first. But I was assured by the hotline (yes, yes, I know..) that it wouldn't be an issue.

I don't know the correct email address but a search of forum turns up many Gov UK email addresses (homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk).

Take a look, maybe one will prove appropriate:

Thanks guys - I'm concerned that there is no official avenue to get this corrected, whereas there is a dedicated email to report errors found on BRCs (in fact, the confirmation email for the DCPR links to the BRC page should you want to get in contact - and when you do, you're told that they have nothing to do with it!), essentially leaving me in limbo..
