Hi,

Me and my partner would like to apply for a PR card individually.
Both of us from a European country. We came in 2011 June- thats why we havent got a WRS.
My partner is on Maternity from November till October and she is going back to work in the beginning of November. Her job will be the same. She is still employed. The only thing she wont get any Maternity pay in August and September but, in october she will get her holiday money.
Can she apply for the PR card now or they will refuse it because of her maternity leave or it wont affect to her application.

Thank you very much in advance

A worker can still retain their worker status whilst on maternity leave. Good supporting evidence required ofcourse.

Or you can include wife on your application as your direct family member dependent.

If applying as a dependent, an unmarried partner needs to have been issued with a RC for extended family member (EFM) and held it for 5 years before applying for confirmation of PR.
To get such a card in the first place requires proof of a durable relationship akin to marriage that has subsisted for 2 years or more.

Does partner have an EFM RC?

If not, (and that's possibly why you mentioned making individual applications), a worker can still retain worker status whilst on maternity leave.
So partner may be able to apply in own right.

Good, rock-solid documentary supporting evidence will be required to back up both applications.
