EEA PR Card and proof of residence during 5 month absence

Hi,

I am thinking about applying for a PR Card and have two specific question. My entitlement would be based on a 5 year period that took place in the past. Now, in my final year I had a 5 month absence from the UK:

1. Do I need to prove residence during this period (i.e. show relevant tenancy agreement, bank statements, utility bills, etc) - as I was outside the UK I stopped renting for that period

2. Does it matter that my absence was extended to 7 months if the final 2 months already fall in year 6? BTW- do I need to provide any documentation for year 6 - i,e, when I came back?

Appreciate your help here

Best,

chrees

Are you an EEA national?

How have you been exercising your treaty rights in the UK?

The answer to both questions is positive. Apologies for not providing all the background to my case but I have done some research and it seems that I tick all the boxes with the question asked in my original post being the only concern.

Best,

1) Not if you were out of UK.

2) Up to 6 months absence in a 12 month period will not break continuity of residence.
No need to exercise treaty rights after acquiring PR.
