Dear all,

I have previously posted a couple of questions here about obtaining applying for PR. For a number of reasons, I'm not completely sure that I qualify yet or met criterial and requirements, but, I thought it would make sense for me to apply now due to BREXIT.

I'm non-EEA national married to EEA spouse and have been living in the UK for past 5 years and half, and has been going to school for all this period (past 5 years), my wife has been working, and self-employed, schooling (uni) for one year, we cannot fine all P60 forms for every one of the 7 years, and some of the recipes and purchases due to thief. (but use P45)

I also want to ask about payment gap between self-employed period, job search and one uni and working period of my wife who is EEA national.

Married = July 2010, applied for LTR in Jan 2010, I got it in May 2010, expired May 2016
Applied for PR in June 2016, no acknowledgement up until now from HO and the money has not been taken from my bank account. Post said received and signed.
Work history = 2009 to 2012
Self-employed from 2012 to 2015
Job search = 2014 to 2015 but still self-employed
Started working again in 2015 after one yr of uni (2013 to 2014), but, she was still self-employed during this period as a student, three months of job search in between her first job and the Job she is doing now.

I'm a graduate, looking for work and have attended interviews where issues of identification came up, but I could not show it, reason I have not received any acknowledgment from HO. At the moment my wife is working would it be sufficient for me to qualify? But I'm concerned about Brexit, the government may distinguish between non-EU workers and students living in the UK.

Don't expect too much communication from HO, that's par for the course.

Your activity in UK is immaterial. Your acquisition of PR depends on your spouse/sponsor.

Did wife have CSI for herself (& you) whilst a student?

no, true is we have no idea that you required CSI,
so what should I do,
do I need a lawyer and what about the process fee that is still in my bank account,
does this mean my application is not been processed at moment or do I need to call them.

Did your sponsor have any alternative to CSI for the period she was a student?

For example, a foreign EHIC?
Or some sort of foreign health cover policy that extends to UK? (some countries do this).

You don't really need a lawyer.
But if you applied on basis of spouse/sponsor being a student for some time but there was no CSI (or alternative) in place then the application will fail.

On the other hand, if the application was made on basis of sponsor being self-employed then CSI is not required.

The application was made on basis of employment and self-employed, but, I did mention that my wife was also a student within this period of self-employed. Does self-employment have threshold or certain amount of money she must make to be qualified or classified as self-employed.

Under the cleaner, purer EU law a worker or selfemployed person simply has to show that work is genuine and effective; that is not captured in specifics pinning down income or salary of hours.

However UK plays hard ball in this area and, in order to decide who is a worker, applies its PET/MET test which goes above and beyond EU law.

Have anybody experience this kind of issue, I posted my application (PR) on the 18th of June, received on the 19th of June, till today no COA and payment not withdrawn from my account, please I need help and advise on this, I have job offers, but without passport or COA is impossible to start and my old job have given me time to produce COA or stop, I just want know if this is a normal practice from HO or due to BREXIT (Lots of applications to deal it)

Hi, I just received biometric letter for my PR after two months and 3 weeks, but without acknowledgement letter, and work permit, I have done the bio and what is next, please can someone advise me on the next line of action or does this mean that my application has been approved or still going through process. I am worried due to house bills, council tax, general and everyday living bills

Biometrics letter just means HO have started, no more no less;
(they consider the enrolment of biometrics as signifying the start of the application process regardless of when your bundle was received).
