Hi there
I am a South African citizen married to a British citizen we have lived in Ireland for 9 months and want to move to uk (my husband received a great job opportunity). By Surinder Singh terms Can I just travel with him into the UK without a visa and apply for a EEA2 visa once there?

In principle yes, but a FP may smooth your journey.

A RC is optional (but advisable) and is not a 'visa'.

Thank you for replying, sorry for my lack of knowledge but could you please explain what an RC and FP is?

I submitted my EEA2 documents on 05/10/2016 and they were received by HO on 06/10/2016.
As of yet i have still had no money debited for the EEA2 fee and had no letter for Biometrics or any type of correspondence.
I dont know what to do I was applying under Surinder Singh route and HO have all my husband and my documents. Pls could i get advice on what to do now?

This is quite normal.
Its a waiting game.
Simply sit tight and wait.

Thank you that is a relief, I thought perhaps my docs had gone missing, will the fee be debited before or after the letter for biometrics?
