EEA PR Form - Biometric Information Section

Hi all

Hoping someone could provide some clarity.

The wife and I are filling out the EEA PR form primarily for myself as an Irish citizen, with her as my family member (non-EEA). The section entitled 'Biometric Information for non-EEA nationals: form EEA(PR)' - page 7, clearly states this section applies to non-EEA nationals applying for a PR card so in this instance this wouldn't include us because I am an EEA national. But then it states just below that if anyone included in this application is non-EEA (my wife) then you must complete this section in full. My question is this: which section are they talking about to fill in? On the following page (8) it has a section called 'Your personal details' - are these my personal details as an EEA national or my wife's? My guess is that it is mine because just below there is another section for 'Personal details of any non-EEA family members included in this application'.

This may seem obvious but I don't want to get it wrong and these types of applications are generally horribly worded.

Thank you

Yep, all pages from 7-13 are for non-EEA who will be enrolling biometrics.
So Personal Details, page 8 is for wife (not you).
The subsequent 'additional family members' section would only apply if any other non-EEA family members are being included as well (eg children).

And yes, its a monster of a form.

Hello noajthan

Thanks for your quick response. Now you mentioned it does seem rather obvious these sections are for the non-EEA national to fill out. Still I stick to my word that these forms are written by some little demon hellbent on making the process as difficult as possible.
