Married to working partner, COA "no right to work", Appeal?

Hi everyone

I'm in the UK on a Family Permit, I'm married to an EU citizen who moved here for work. We're both currently employed but my permit expires in December.

I'm in the process of applying for a residence card and to my shock received a COA that said it could not confirm my right to work based on insufficient proof that my husband was exercising his treaty rights.

We sent a letter of employment from his company along with the application so I'm really not sure what they're asking for. Should I write in and appeal for a new COA? Would my husband's payslips be sufficient proof for them?

How should I write in? Any advice would be truly welcome.

As you have current permission (by virtue of valid FP) and are married to your sponsor (direct FM) you should definitely receive a COA with confirmation of right to work.
However HO plays hard ball by default, as you have found.

There is an email address box to contact to sort this out. I'll attach it when I dig it out of the forum (or else you can search).

Thanks very much @noajthan sorry I haven't checked back. I thought I'd be notified when someone replied!

Depends on your UCP (profile) settings.

Anyway suggest mail that address, explain everything; see what happens.
