Non EEA (PR) apllication +6 months cross No Descision

Hi all,
Hope you all are well. My application with home has crossed 6 months time line. Called them , they just told me my application is still under consideration and they cant give me an exact time.
Very frustrating and getting depressed.
My EEA wife was exercising treaty rights last 5 years but many jobs and gaps but never absence more then 6 months.
Here is my timeline :
Application sent :17/05/16
Application received: 18/05/16 and payment taken.
Biometrics letter: 21/06/16
Coa with work: 3/07/16

Its over 6 months. Really biting my nerves. Is there anyone in same situation?
