Is that possible to request return passport during the process? I think they cancel your process if you ask your passport return.

And about travelling abroad my wife can travel on EU passport easily?

Of course you can request your passport back. They cannot cancel the process unless you advise them to.

I thought it was 30 days on average!

I just asked for mine and it came last week on monday, exactly 11 days after I requested it.

When you go to the link, it will ask you whether you want to cancel your application or not. I chose NO and even took a screenshot just in case haha.

While I am at it, has anyone recieved their PR card recently? I applied on 15 April, and received the Biometrics invitation on 17th May and COA on 22nd May?

My timeline is similar to yours

Application sent 15 April and received at home office on 18th.
Payment taken 20 April
Biometrics appointment received 17th May and sent on the same day
COA received 26th May

I also requested my passports on 8th August after calling them and they reassured me that it would not affect the application.

I received the passport 11 days after the reques on 23rd Aug.

I haven't heard anything since, but I just heard of someone on a different post who got theirs on 2nd Sep, so hopefully not long.

I'll update when I receive a response from them.
