Re: Return of documents
I've just received the passports today with a letter stating as below, but i'm still not really sure about it, is it as standard where i have underlined in red (are they assuming most of non-eaa that are applying for their PR's, that their RCs are out of date or about to expire)
*If that was the case then my RC still valid till 2019 as i had to transfer my RC vignette from old to new passport and i have done that twice that's why my last RC expires in May 2019
*If that wasn't the case then why should I apply for an EEA family permit before returning to UK? still not sure! Please Advise!
"Please find enclosed the documents submitted in support of your application for UK residence documentation under directive 2004/38/EC, which you requested to be returned.
If you have requested a return of a passport in order to travel, please note that family members of an EEA national, who are not themselves EEA nationals, wishing to return to the United Kingdom should apply for an EEA family permit before returning. An EEA family permit is issued free of charge and on priority basis although third party partners may charge a handling fee .
It should be noted that any such application would need to be supported by evidence to show that the EEA national is in or traveling to the United Kingdom and that the relationship is as claimed .
All remaining documentation is required to support effective consideration of your case. please do not return your documents to the Home Office unless requested"
