Definition of EEA national qualified person

Hi. Plz can anyone help me. I want to apply for PR for my wife but somebody suggested me that if get PR confirmation before her . Then it can be easier for her application . I was filling my eea3 application form. I entered in uk 1996 and never been out more than 2 months in an year . I don't have all my p60 but I got National insurance contribution record from hmrc. Can I use that instead of p60s plz. I'll really thankful for your help plz.

I think you can use national insurance contributions record And you can request for your employment history with HMRC,that should help,that is my opinion but you can't wait for people to contribute to this

But if in UK since 19-forgotten are you sure you didn't get ILR? (check original passport used to enter UK).

I entered with Portuguese passport and I was only 16 years old when I came . Sorry I haven't got what you tryied to say about ilr plz. Plz can u explain .

Yes. I came with my mum from Portugal .

Was she a
qualified person for at least 5 years?
If she was, then you may be eligible for PR as a family member too.

Migrants who came to UK before 2000 were, apparently, sometimes granted settled status ILR on request.
So you may find you have ILR status already - check your original passport for a stamp.
If so no need for PR as ILR will do just as well for that.

I never applied for ilr plz. Should I apply for ilr or PR plz? What if I apply for ilr then what about my wife plz. Will she need to apply PR or ilr plz. Thanks

If you didn't get ILR back in 19... then don't worry about it.
Its all about acquiring PR status now (via treaty rights) so focus on that.

Thanks for your big help. Plz last question about eea3 form . Do I need to mention all JSA dates and few months ago I caught driving while drunk . Still waiting for dvla medical outcome . Do I need to mention all bits ? Thanks again .

You are referring to EEA3 - that's the old name for such a form.
Check which form you are looking at (although its not mandatory to use latest form).
Good character does not come into such applications, its not required under EU law.
