Hi!
Long story short, my husband has been denied a permanent residency card because they were not able to verify that he has worked for the same company for ten years. The reason being, and that is the main reason for the refusal, was because the lady that provided the phone number for reference has left the company! Through no fault of his own, he has been refused.
I visited a few solicitors however their prices start at £1500 which in all fairness isn't satisfactory at all; the citizen advice bureau informed me that they have no immigration advisers?

To cut to the chase, how do I reapply for the permit? Do I just submit a new totally clean form? If so, do I need to mention that he has been refused before and that's why we are trying again? ANY help will be so appreciated because we only have two days left for a decision. Please !

This doesn't make sense. Surely he has more proof of his 10 years employment than a telephone reference? Pay slips. P60's?

Something doesn't make sense.
Did you give a named contact at employer? why?
What is the 'reference' you refer to?

What other proofs of exercise of treaty rights did you submit?

Can you post the refusal reason from refusal letter (omitting personal details).

And what's the rush, what is happening "in 2 days time"? what is that deadline?

He only needs 5 years to show he has acquired the right of PR. Has his company ever paid him? He should get a pay slip every week/month and a P60 at the end of each financial year.

Citizens advice bureau are not immigration advisers.
