Hi all,

I was hoping any of you could help.

I've applied for a Residence Card based on Retained Rights of Residence in January 2017.
Biometrics done and COA received. So, that's all good.

However, my ex husband has just told me he changed jobs in February - do I need to inform Home Office?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Married: April 2013
Decree Absolute: December 2016
Sent proof we lived together for over a year
He has always worked and I've sent his P60 since 2008, plus bank statements, payslips and previous employers letter and signed declaration.
I am also a fullt-me worker.

You don't have to inform the HO because you now divorced. But as you pointed out in your thread if you have submitted his P60 since 2008 till beyond April 2016 you will be fine and when your get the new RC issue just count the whole of your 5yrs again from the date of your marriage and when completed just apply for the PR as you don't need to wait for the second ROR RC to expired.


Most importantly you must stay in employment though till you get your PR.
