Hi all,

It'll be a month on the 10th since the biometric part for a EEA (PR) application was done however, the Certificate of Application hasn't been received yet. It is urgently needed so I am just wondering if there is any contact number/email where thia can be enquired. Thanks.

Same here. It's taking such a long time. Biometrics were done a little after yours though, but hitting the three week mark now and the website states should be here by 21 days. .

just copy and past it in your email. mine went successfully and had an automated reply saying if i submitted it within 21 days i should contact them but i have to as i am going to loose my job. so am guessing if you guys haven't received yours even within the 21 days guess i am going to loose my job then.. why is home office doing this why would they have to let you do biometrics and wait 21 days can't they just send it together with coa. man people lives are just being messed up because of this. can any one please share their time line

APPLIED: 15TH MARC
PAYMENT : 17TH
EMPLOYER: CARRIED OUT A CHECK ON IMMIGRATION LINE ON THE 3RD GOT RESPONSE ON THE 10TH WITH NO CERTIFICATE OF APPLICATION
BIOMETRICS: 5TH DATED 3RD MAY. LAWYER SENT IT BUT WENT MISSING AND GOT RETURNED TO THIER OFFICE TODAY SO WENT TO COLLECT IT AND DID IT TODAY 10TH.

Sorry to hear that, I know it's very stressful. . . My partner hasn't been 'allowed' to work for 6 weeks now, it's soul-destroying waiting around for a piece of paper. People don't realise how much stress, anxiety and pressure this puts on families. Are you non-eea?

Fingers crossed! We've considered asking for my partners employer to do that but wasn't sure whether it would come back positive if the coa hasn't been received. It will be 21 days on Friday so we shall try the email. . Although let's pray it comes tomorrow! Good luck.

Firstly, thanks for the thread to the email address. Hoping that get some motion with myself.
App sent 10/2
received 13/2
Biometrics done 23/3

Asked to leave work, pending the COA number 13/4.
Have been given till next Wed before losing job I've had for 6 years.

3 months have elapsed and haven't gotten a COA, so I hope the email link works already got the automated responses back.

I'm sure you must be devastated. We've just lost a 6 year employment also, so can totally understand your concern. Hopefully all will receive their coas promptly.

This is sad man... I also just got kicked out of work today. My HR was actually helpful she sat infront of me made all calls to a hoMe office and they said since I just did my biometrics only yesterday chances are it will come back negative. This is so not right al all peoples lives are being ruined because of this. How would someone do biometrics and your system doesn't even say anything. Hopefully the new case ID check comes back positive so they can reinstate me.

It is unfair indeed! they are doing everything else extremely slow but taking the fees...... and there is no way for applicants to talk to actual HO staff or caseworker, unbelievable!

It's really unfortunate that cases like this abounds everywhere, I have been suspended from work since February and it's no longer funny, initially a week before my residency card expired, and I had already applied waiting for home office acknowledgement, it took another four weeks for HO to come back that application is invalid, inability to collect funds, reapplied again 2weeks later, waited for 6 weeks for acknowledgement and biometrics,COA after 7 weeks plus, submitted COA to employers ECS online check done, feedback from home office still being awaited for ECS three weeks after online check. It's really unfair especially when there is no avenue to address some of this delays

Guys has anyone had their employer do an ECS check after. Doing biometrics and it's come positive before receiving COA?

This is our plan next week. We've waited 20 days past biometrics, so around 5 weeks for biometrics plus 3 weeks post biometrics . . Surely that's long enough. Glad to hear employers are being supportive. . Same experience this end. We've also had mp involvement three weeks ago- letter sent to home office a day or two after biometrics. . Not that it's got very far :(

as far as i am aware the 6 months starts from the date you sent off your application. and they receive it.
what is your time line if you don't mind me asking. could you share it for us to have an idea please.
but ai am sure that it starts from the date on which they receive your application

From what I've picked up on here, it's six months from application being received (but it appears many non-eea are going to about the 7 month mark, and with Brexit influx, I can't see this changing!)

Application sent: 8/3/17
Application received: 9/3/17
email received: 13/4/17
Biometrics letter received: 20/4/17
Biometrics enrolled: 21/4/17
coa: tomorrow hopefully!

Hi all,

I am Turkish and my wife is Bulgarian. We sent EEA(QP) and EEA(FM) applications together

Here is my timeline so far:

Application posted on 09/12/2017
Payment taken: 11/12/2017 (Debit Card Charge Online Service)
Home Office Email (with case reference number): 14/12/2017
Biometrics letter received: 05/01/2018
Biometrics enroll: 06/01/2018

It's been 20 days since i sent the biometrics enrollment and still no sign of CoA.
I checked the timeline posts and normally it is taking around 7-10 days so i find this a bit annoying.

Does anyone have any idea if this is normal?

I am in the same situation, biometrics submitted on 12th of December and have not received my COA yet. I have sent 5 emails to COA department and sent an email to complaints department. Does anyone has any other ways to follow up with COA?
