PR / marriage linked?

I moved to the UK with my then wife in 2009 and applied for my EEA2 RC.
After 5 years with that RC I applied and got my PR via EEA4.
Unfortunately a year and a half after that me and my wife decided to get a divorce after a 12 year relationship.

My question is:

What are the chances of my Permanent Residence Card being canceled because of my divorce?
I thought it was completely unrelated, but recently I came back from a trip and the border agent REALLY disliked the fact that I wasn’t married anymore, kept asking questions about my divorce date and when did I get my PR and overall it was my most unpleasant experience while coming back into the country.

No they didn't retain my PR, and I was let in.
But only after an unusual amount of insinuating questions. Maybe he was just having a bad day....
