PR - What is acceptable proof of residence for student?

Hello,
I was studying in UK from Oct 2012 to Jun 2016. I am now considering my options of applying for PR in the future.
Based on the guide on Gov.uk website, you need to prove your residence in UK during your years as a student. To do that, you need to provide one piece of evidence for each 12 month period. Letters from the university and bank statements are listed as strong evidence.
I have letters from the university (invoices for college accommodation) — these letters have my name, university and college address, college bank details, college crest and date. However, I am worried whether these letters are acceptable, since they have no signature and no official stamp. Would these letters be seen as acceptable proof?
I could also order official paper statements from my bank, each covering 12 month periods for each year I was a student. I don't have any statements actually produced on past dates, i.e I didn't have any statements mailed to be in any of the past years, since I was paperless. I don't really know if I actually need to have a history of statements that were mailed to me on the past dates, or if simply ordering them right now would be OK.
I take it that simply having a proof of study (e.g. a letter from University confirming my full-time student status for years 2012-2016) is not sufficient, and I do actually need additional proof of residence?
As you can probably see I don't really know what I am doing and I am rather confused. Thanks for any help.
