Hello,
I'm a Family Permit holder, on the 6 months stay, my visa expires in a month and one week..I'm intending to remain in the UK (Get the 5 year Residence Card.)..I've found applying quite complicated, can anyone please help or explain to me how it is done? And I'm wondering if I still have enough time to get the Residence Card or I'm short of time? How long processing time takes?
Thanks in advance,
Kind regards.

Start here: eea-route-applications/eea-faqs-common- ... 14867.html and also read this: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... -04_KP.pdf. Once you've assimilated all that, you'll be able to post specific questions.

Residence Card applications appear to be taking 6+ months right now. But as long as your EEA sponsor is exercising treaty rights, then the expiration of your Family Permit is of no importance. It was only an entry pass to get you into the country, it's not a visa and the fact it is expired has no impact on your right to reside in the UK.
