Hi guys please I need your advise on this issue. I married to EU my statue in UK is Indefinite Leave to Remain but I have a 15 years old boy from my ex and he lives with me and my EU wife. My son statue in UK is 5 years residence in UK. He came to UK 2015 December and by 2016 he got his 5 years because my statue was 5 years residence when my son applied for residence and he got his 5 years too, but now my own statue has changed to Indefinite Leave to remain.
My question is should I apply for my son too to change his statue to Indefinite to Remain or should I wait for my own Naturalization to come and after that Naturalize my son too despite he has not live in UK for 5 years? Or I should wait till my statue changed to British and Naturalize him which one is the best? I have already applied for my own Naturalization and still waiting for HO decision on that should I go ahead for my son to apply for ILR or ignore it which one is the best? I need your advice on this guys thanks.

Do you have PR under the EU rules as spouse of EU citizen or do your have ILR under the UK immigration rules?
What is your EU spouse current status (PR, BC etc)
There is a substantial price difference between the two route (£65 vs £2387).

Yes, I have my my PR under EU rules because I submitted my application for ILR with my EU spouse and we both have with the same date. what do you mean by £2387? is that the amount I have to pay to Naturalize my son? Since my statue has changed to PR now I dont think am still under my EU spouse anymore.
I just want you to advice me on what to do and which one is the best I was told that since my statue has changed my son statue has to changed too but am not sure about it. Like I said in my previous message should I wait for my own Naturalization to be finalized before I go ahead and do the same for my son or should I need to apply for PR for for him at this stage? My spouse and I have acquired PR what is the best option for for my son?
I look forward to hear from you guys again thanks.

You need to use the correct terminology. You DO NOT have ILR, you hold PR under the EU rules. ILR costs £2387, PR costs £65.
If your son was born overseas, he will require PR before he can apply for citizenship. He can only apply for citizenship if you apply for citizenship.
If your EU spouse applies for citizenship, your spouse can no longer be your son's sponsor.

Thanks very much for your quick reply. Finally should I just wait for my Naturalization approval before I apply for my son as well or since have already applied should I go ahead and apply fr him at this stage but he hasn't acquire PR yet does my own statue give my son right to apply for naturalization or not thanks.

Your son requires PR. There is no shortcut for him at all as he was born abroad. Your getting British citizenship does not change this requirement for PR.
