EEA PR fee mistake

I recently applied EEA pr by post and just noticed i wrote my card details wrong.it is almost 5 days gone since I posted my application.
Please let me know what can i do now if any one knows about it

Print out the payment page and correct your mistakes with your details with a letter attach with it and send it the same address possibly that might correct things faster for you.

I sent out a new page of payment but was not tracked so i sent it again.
Now I noticed my bank that two transactions were made on my account from home office.i think my both letters were delivered.
May be payment department is differently handling with the fee and don't have any access to other documents
Is anyone knows what happened or how they deal with such cases?

The letter solution did not work for us in a similar solution, and the application was rejected and sent back after about 2 months.

They did not, it was sent back to us, and we had to re-apply.
