Hi all,
I am going through the online form - and its a bit confusing.
Under the section "Employment, Income and Sponsor Details"
It asks at the bottom for Sponsor Details.
1. Are you being sponsored by a person(s)
2. Are you being sponsored by a company or organisation?
What does this mean? The guidance does not provide any help on this section. Is the sponsor my spouse?
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... -Notes.pdf
The other questions in the "Employment, Income and Sponsor Details" are covered in setion 5 but Part 5 does not include anything on Sponsor
Also, for the questions on
1. The cost of the areoplane, boat or train tickets
2. The cost of your accommodation
3. The cost of your living expenses
Are you supposed to input a figure? or who is paying for it?

The "EEA" tab is even more confusing
The first set of questions I assume it is asking for the EEA national's details? It is confusing, because, for example the 1st question ask for 'family name/surname' then sais if YOU only have one name. Does that mean it means the applicant enters their details or the EEA National?
Next confusing question is
"What is your permanent residential address and contact details?"
I have already provided these details in a previous tab, I assume it is asking for the EEA national's residential address? Again, the correspondence address, is this my correspondence address or the EEA nationals.
"Are your correspondence address different from the contact details already provided above?"
Are they asking for my correspondence address or the EEA's? if they are asking for the EEA's should the question be worded
"Is the EEA's correspondence address different from the contact details already provided above?"
Then within the Relationship Details, it asks
"Do you have a valid residency card or visa for an EEA member country?"
Is the question directed at the EEA National or the applicant?
So freaking confusing

Someone told me that for all settlement visas supporting documents have to be sent to the Home Office's Sheffield address.
Is it still ok to print the application and go to the application centre with the supporting documents?
Or are you now required to post or scan them instead of physically handing them in with the application form?

Is the EEA Family permit considered to be a settlement or non-settlement visa?

You are not applying for a visa so therefore not applying for a settlement visa under the UK immigration rules.

What is a settlement visa?
Is it when you apply for British Citizenship?

You should read through your very long topic again, this was already covered.
Settlement visa is when you apply on FLR(M) for a spouse visa as the spouse of a British Citizen or a person holding ILR.
Applying for British citizenship is.................applying for British Citizenship!
