Eea2 residence card

Hi my husband is turkish currently living in northern Ireland on residence card eea2 we normally travel from Dublin airport together but this year I'm not going over to turkey with him my question is can he travel alone from Dublin to turkey

I assume your question really is can your husband fly into Dublin from Turkey on his own (getting out is easy, getting back in is the tricky bit). The answer is, yes he can. His UK-issued EEA2 card (more formally known as a Residence Card of a Family Member of a Union Citizen) exempts your husband from the Irish visa requirement otherwise applicable to Turkish nationals. He does not have to be travelling with you as long as he has his EEA2 at the port of entry.
(It may however be advisable for your husband to carry additional proof of exercising Treaty rights, such as your marriage certificate and evidence of your residence in the North.)

Thanks very much as im being told so many different stories this has put my mind at ease first time of him traveling on his own I didn't want him having any problems I'll surely send all document's with him thanks
