Dear all,
My fiend is married to EEA national one and half year ago.

My friend applied his EEA RC in November,2016.
He was arrested on 08 Dec 2016 and was served a notice of removal, but after he was released and was asked to report to Home office.
On 1st June his application was refused saying this marriage is one of convenience.
He made an appeal against this decision, he received a letter confirming that Home office has received his appeal application.
But this Friday he was arrested and detained and he is told that you will be removed from UK asap.

what is the best advise for him so that he can be released and fight his case here in Uk.

I will be very thank full to you all if some one can advise as my friend is in trouble.

It all depends on the case, but a marriage of convenience refusal does not have a suspensive effect. He may have to seek a Judicial review if a removal directions is issued and seek bail.

thanks for your reply,

can we seek bail ourself, or we need to get help from a solicitor.
If we seek bail ourself is there any application fees.

As I mentioned in my above post that my friend is in detention, he is a family member of EU citizen.
Can we send B1 form to apply for his bail ourself,
Or we must need a barrister to present in court.
can any one please share experience about this process.
cz lawyers cost a lot.
we can provide two sureties for this purpose.

thank you guys
