Non-EEA Family member to live in UK (Currently Visitor)

Hi there, I'm stuck in my process as my case is a bit tricky. Any guidance would be much appreciated.
My wife (EEA-Hungary) now works/lives in UK and I (Brazilian) am currently living in UK with her (Visitor 6 - months stay allowed). We plan to stay here for 2 more years.
We got married in UK a weeks ago. My questions are:

- As per link https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/eea-qp I wouldn't need to apply for any documentation as a spouse of an EEA. Did I understand that right? If travel abroad, can I reenter by using my marriage certificate?
Also should I need to live UK and reenter with my marriage certificate in order replace my current Visitor status?

- If above is a false promise, is the Residence Card the quickest process to allow me to live here? If I need a RC, can I apply it while here or do I need to live UK? Also wondering about timing if the process takes a long time as I think I would have to leave and wait abroad (so I don't stay here ilegal).

Thank you,
Gabriel

If you leave the UK and try to enter again the officer can refuse the entrance even if you are married to an EEA citizen if you do not hold a residence card, you can apply for a residence card even tomorrow without leaving the UK, you have to use the EEA 2 form and the process will take 4-6 months, after some weeks you will receive a letter that asks you to enroll biometrics and they will send you a certificate of application that hopefully allows you to work in the UK. During all the time of the process you will not be illegal in the UK.
