Thanks for your reply and contribution Shani but does my past immigration history got anything to do with my applying for PR after my 5th wedding anniversary because l was on a 2years visitors visa when l met and married my spouse and subsequently got my Residence card.

Not an issue for PR.

I don't think it's necessary, but it won't hurt either:
Status of EEA national sponsor
The applicant must provide proof the EEA national is either:
living in the UK and exercising a free movement right
has a permanent right of residence in the UK
Add the marriage certificate and you should be OK.

The only way I can see it having an effect is that it might encourage the Home Office to claim that a significant part of the reason for marrying was to be able to use the EEA Regulations. We are now faced with the ruling (Molina - see the thread on
marriages of convenience) that a marriage based on a genuine relationship may yet be a marriage of convenience. There is now also the curious concept of a "durable partnership of convenience". My feeling is that if you have a sound marriage, you should not have problems. Blatantly unfaithful husbands have hit problems with an accusation of the marriage being a marriage of convenience.
