EEA FAMILY PERMIT 5 MONTHS DELAY

Hi I am Simran from New Delhi India. I have been waiting on an answer from the Home Office for almost 5 months now.
I applied on the 9th of May. It has been 99 working days since I sent in all my documents and my bio-metrics. I would like it know if this long a wait is normal? Has anyone else had to wait this long? Any advise on what I could do will be very helpful as I am desperate for an answer.
